Many national advertising agencies don't know each specific market as well as they would like to, but strong relationships with the South Bend Tribune, as well as radio, television, and outdoors advertising companies positions our marketing department to assist your marketing efforts locally.

Public Relations: The Marketing Department takes advantage of every opportunity to generate media awareness, interest, and exposure for your event. Press releases, event alerts, press conferences, photo opportunities, event celebrity visits, on-site coverage and satellite radio broadcasts at your event will generate coverage and ultimately result in additional ticket sales revenue.
Media Buying: The Marketing Department will use established relationships to help show managers select the best media outlets in the South Bend market to best reach its target demographic. Placing media in an unfamiliar market can create challenges, but utilizing the local marketing relationships can again increase your event’s success.We will develop, implement and evaluate specific plans for your event
Exterior signage: Our state-of-the-art exterior message system activates your event message on our outdoor video marquee right on St. Joseph Street in downtown South Bend. Take advantage of the high-traffic location of our convention center and put it to work for you by placing your message in front of the 16,500 daily travelers passing the facility each day. This system provides you the opportunity to air brief video commercials, still-frame advertising pieces or messages promoting your upcoming event.
