Sunburst Races 2025 presented by KeyBank

Sunburst is a special community event with a rich and long-standing history. This year we celebrate the 41st running of Sunburst Races. We are proud to be a race that brings together many of the same participants and volunteers year after year. Race weekend feels like a family reunion.

The 5K Run begins at 7:00 a.m.

The 5K Run (and all other events) will start and finish at the Century Center in downtown South Bend (on the Jefferson Blvd. Bridge). Our new venue allows for a post-race party with activities and celebrations that are specifically tailored for adults and families.

Due to safety concerns, no strollers, joggers, wagons, baby carriers, etc. are allowed in the 5K Run – these items are only permitted in the 5K Fitness Walk.

The minimum age of participation is 6 years of age (on race day).
Sunburst will offer packet pickup on Friday, May 30 at the Century Center from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Participants can pick up their shirts and bibs and do some shopping before they lace up for Saturday/race day fun.
